Genuine Oak Badger aka: "Johnny Boy"
- 14.3H, 2022' sorrel AQHA gelding
Johnny Boy is a super sweet, extremely well-trained gelding with a solid foundation and a versatile background. He has a small amount of earnings in both the cutting and reined cow horse, giving him a strong start in the performance world while his outside use makes him very handy if you need a using horse to do a real job.
Originally raised in Saskatchewan and coming out of Alberta, Canada - Johnny Boy has been ranched on, used to start colts off of, halter break wild horses, and also used for lots trail riding - he is a well-rounded, experienced horse. He has been ridden by a youth rider daily and has also been used for total beginnners in our lesson program - he is very good-natured, kind, and easy to be around.
He has the kind of training and disposition that would allow a youth rider to continue on showing him under professional guidance and supervision, and he also has the background and ability to make a really nice rope horse.
